Raipur, Chhattisgarh - The government's numerical (statistical) report of various departments have now also been made available on the website by Department of Economic and Statistics. The departmental website www.descg.gov.in has been prepared with the support of Chhattisgarh State Information Science Center. The website also display activities of directorate. It can be used by related departments, person or institution.
The Department of Economic and Statistics make available information based on statistical information to various government, semi government departments and private institutions after assessment of their need. It is the main responsibility of this department. To determine policies of Chhattisgarh government department wise statistics comilation and for quality improvement of it, the Chhattisgarh State, division, district and block level collection of statistics, chart making, publications and reports are made by Department of Economic and Statistics.
आर्थिक एवं सांख्यिकी विभाग के प्रकाशन अब वेबसाईट पर भी उपलब्ध
रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ - राज्य सरकार के आर्थिक एवं सांख्यिकी विभाग द्वारा छत्तीसगढ़ शासन के विभिन्न विभागों के संख्यात्मक प्रतिवेदन अब वेबसाईट पर भी उपलब्ध करा दिए गए हैं। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य सूचना विज्ञान केन्द्र के सहयोग से यह विभागीय वेबसाईट www.descg.gov.in तैयार की गयी है। इस वेबसाईट में संचालनालय के क्रिया-कलापों को भी प्रदर्शित किया गया है। संबंधित विभाग, व्यक्ति अथवा संस्था द्वारा इसका उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि छत्तीसगढ़ आर्थिक एवं सांख्यिकी विभाग द्वारा शासन के विभिन्न सरकारी, अर्ध्दशासकीय और अशासकीय विभागों तथा संस्थाओं को उनकी जरूरतों का आंकलन कर सांख्यिकी पर आधारित जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई जाती है। यह इस विभाग का प्रमुख दायित्व है। आर्थिक एवं सांख्यिकी विभाग द्वारा शासन के नीतियों के निर्धारण के लिए विभागवार सांख्यिकी संकलन एवं उनमें गुणात्मक सुधार के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य संभाग जिला एवं विकासखण्ड स्तर की सांख्यिकी का संकलन, सारिणीकरण, प्रकाशन और प्रतिवेदन भी तैयार किया जाता है।
